The Food Is Adulterated, Then ...

During the current holy month of Ramadan, the mobile court fined several money from several hotels, restaurants and fast-food shops in Dhaka and Dhaka for selling powders, cakes, chemicals and low-quality food outside Dhaka. Somewhere restaurant or shopkeeper or manager has been jailed. The news has been published and circulated in various media including newspapers. Many of us may have felt relieved to read the news. I thought, quite a while. The bats should have been taught. And doing such work? 

The mobile court has fined one lac taka for any restaurant. He fined 60 thousand taka or 40 thousand taka for any food shop. A shopkeeper or hotel manager has been sentenced to a labor of one month or two months. Many of us may have thought that these hotels, restaurants or food shops will not do such work again after these punishments, or any other hotel, restaurant or food shop businessman will not mix food or sell rotten, non-living food. But we think we are wrong, we have already got evidence of it. 

Recently, mobile courts have given a statistical report of one year in a workshop held at the administrative level. The workshop was held jointly by the Cabinet Division and the Dhaka Divisional Commissioner's Office, In the last one year, there were 57 thousand 157 mobile courts. In this, 1 lakh 36 thousand 927 cases were resolved. He has been imprisoned with 1 lakh 47 thousand 754 people and fined 37 crore 37 lakh 88 thousand 24 taka. Through this calculation, it was understood that selling raw, bad and low-quality food was mixed with the adulteration of food at the rate. And we have been eating those foods. 

But do we know, what is the harm to us? We are suffering from diarrhea, dysentery and other diseases by eating rotten, bad and low-quality foods. Regularly eating regular meals, there is a risk of developing cancer. Our country's dishonest businessmen use different types of harmful chemicals such as formalin, hydrogen peroxide, carbide, as well as milk, fruits, fish, meat, or vegetables in the hope of higher profits. We eat these harmful chemicals, eat sour stomach, sneezes, cough, breathing, indigestion, ulcer, Diseases with different diseases including Disease. These chemicals destroy the liver, kidneys, heart, brain-everything. Due to the use of formalin food, the stomach, lungs and respiratory can be cancerous. In other words, we are slowly moving towards death. In a sense, these dishonest businessmen are killing people. 

A few days ago I saw another news, two children died after consuming watermelon in Kushtia. Apart from this, more than 20 people were admitted to the hospital. Later, it was found in the investigation that the melon was mixed to show the watermelon ripe. The two children died due to poisoning of the color. 

In 2013 the Parliament passed the 'Safe Food Act, 2013' bill. The bill has a provision for a maximum penalty of five years in jail and a fine of Tk 10 lakh for adulteration. If this is the punishment of punishment, So the adulteration of food will not stop any day. There will be a new law for this. Under that law, the provision of strict punishment will be kept. That could be the job only.
